Hello! Welcome to the missions section of our website. Light of the World Ministries (mission Group) was established out of Light in the Darkness Church in the end of 2018 when sister Melissa Alers was called to go to Uganda Africa. God was preparing the Church for international ministry and later much more... God was calling us to "GO" and start working diligently outside the 4 walls! After receiving conformation and sharing the vision with Pastor Carlos, she began to pursue the next steps... Step number one was classes and education on the mission field (please click on “Classes” for more information or interests in mission courses). This is where the group was born! Nobody from the Church, including sister Melissa had any experience at that time. She was only being used as thet instrument to start up the missions at Light in the Darkness Church. Later, it was clear that the vision God gave her matched up with the vision God gave Pastor Carlos. Jesus said “ye shall do greater things then me” and He meant when we all work together in the unity of the Holy Spirit. we learned biblically how we are all called for the same mission: spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ AND demonstrating the love of God with our lives. The mission is not only a international call. It begins right where we are: and we are equally grateful for our local mission leaders, Alex & Suly Nieves , and all God is doing here in our local area. We are a group of brothers and sisters determined to do the will of God. ¡Hola! Bienvenido a la sección de misiones de nuestro sitio web. Ministerio Luz del Mundo (Grupo misionero) se estableció a partir de la Iglesia Luz en las Tinieblas a fines de 2018 cuando la hermana Melissa Alers fue llamada a ir a Uganda, África. Comienza justo donde estamos: y estamos igualmente agradecidos por nuestros líderes misioneros locales, Alex y Suly Nieves, y por todo lo que Dios está haciendo aquí en nuestra área local. Somos un grupo de hermanos y hermanas decididos a hacer la voluntad de Dios.
